Upcoming Events

Meeting old friends and making new ones.

The good weather of summer increases the number of events on the schedule.   Here are some family friendly events that you might want to consider attending this summer.

For the second year in a row the OGA has partnered with the Trent Severn Waterway to bring a geocaching event to the Waterway.   Complete the event passport and receive your limited edition geocoin.
Wetland Wonderland Geocaching Adventure
Date: July 14, 2012
Time: 1300 – 1600
Location: Campbellford, Ontario

Also a repeat event the Discover L&A County event will give you plenty of reason to visit this part of Ontario.
Discover L&A County Geocaching Event
Date: August 25, 2012
Time: 0900 – 1800
Location: Bath, Ontario

As one of the longest running annual Geocaching events GHAGAFAP has become a bit of a regional tradition.
Date: September 15, 2012
Time: 1000 – 1800
Location: Guelph, Ontario

Geocaching events are a great way to meet fellow cachers and to find answers to some of those caches that give you fits.   You’ll also learn lots of tips and tricks.  I especially like learning about highly recommended geocaches.
