![]() June 2008 : Wildwilly![]() Wildwilly has been voted this month's Cacher of the Month. Lets hope he can keep his clothes on while he answers a few of our questions. Q and A with WildwillyQ: Where do you call home? A: Fenwick Q: Where does the name Wildwilly come from?A: I sometimes get a little over the top while out caching. When you cache with me you can expect things to get alittle "wild" Q: When you are not caching, what do you do? (work and/or relax?)A: When Im not caching I spend most of my free time training with Search and Rescue Niagara. Someone has to show thoseguys how it's done! Q: How long have you been geocaching? A: I've been caching just over two years. Q: How did you find out about geocaching? A: I read a blurb in the paper about geocaching and a CITO event that was going to be taking place in Shorthills Park.I showed up to see what it was all about and before the event was over I was hooked! Q: Have you gotten anyone else involved in the sport?A: I promote geocaching like it is a religin. I have encouraged at least 6-7 people to start caching. They are allregular's now. Q: What gear do you use for caching?A: GPS is Colorado 300 by Garmin. Shoes/boots are nothing but Merrell Footwear. If my clothing doesn't have Marmot onthe label....I will not wear it. Q: Tell us some of your caching milestones. (First, most memorable etc.)A: My favorite milestone was my 400th cache. I decided to make the hike in my birthday suit! Q: What are your favourite caches?A: My two favorite caches by far are GCKT8F "The air is thin up here" and GCG81R "High Above High Falls" Q: What are your least favourite caches?A: Any cache where muggles can sit and look out the window while eating dinner and see what you are doing! Q: Any recent highlights you would like to share?A: I recently placed my 100th hide. Q: Any thoughts on caching you would like to share?A: I wish the NPCA would be a bit softer on geocaching. There should be a public ban on all drive up caches! Thanks to Wildwilly for taking time out between finding caches to share a few moments with all of us. Always looking forward to reading about your adventures. If you know an OGA member who you would like to see in the Cacher of the Month spotlight, send me an email to cast your vote.
